On Wednesday, December 6, twenty guests gathered in Chicago to build awareness and support for the missions of Liryc in partnership with the French-American Chamber of Commerce. It was a moment rich in exchanges, made possible by a community determined to advance medical research and change lives. The concrete impact of their ongoing support was highlighted through the poignant testimony of a patient.

On October 17, Mark and Laura Bailey, loyal American donors, organised an evening in Boston to support Liryc in its mission to fight against heart rhythm diseases.

It was a moment rich in exchanges, highlighting the Gironde territory internationally through the missions of the institute and thanks to the tasting of Bordeaux wines, generously offered by the Chateau Pape-Clément, the Domaine de Chevalier and the Domaine de la Solitude.

We are very grateful to Mark et Laura Bailey for their unwavering support, to Marty and Tristin Mannion for opening their beautiful home to us and to Marc Bouffard for his wine expertise.

AWARENESS OF LIFE-SAVING GESTURES

On Thursday, June 8, some 120 employees of Ceva Santé Animale, a loyal donor of the institute, learned about heart rhythm disorders and how to prevent them ✔️

Ceva, the 5th largest animal health company in the world, and 1st in France, welcomed Liryc during an HSE week as part of a day dedicated to health and quality of life.

On the program:

🔹 Introduction to life-saving techniques with the Choquez-Nous association: learning first-aid techniques such as recognizing cardio-respiratory arrest, practicing cardiac massage and using a defibrillator ;

🔹 Immersion workshops at the heart of cardiac rhythm diseases;

🔹 Exchanges and cross-views around a shared conviction – Onehealth, une seule santé.

This initiative is part of the sponsorship forged between Ceva Santé Animale and Liryc, strengthening synergies between the company’s employees and the institute’s researchers.

CHARITY EVENT IN CALIFORNIA

On Tuesday, May 23 Mark and Laura Bailey, dedicated supporters of Liryc Institute since 2019, organized a charity event bringing together some twenty of their close friends in California to raise awareness of the institute.

The program included a tasting of Bordeaux wines, generously donated by the famous Château Pape-Clément and Château Haut-Bailly, and a spotlight on Liryc’s impactful programs and advancements.
